Tow vehicle is 2010 4 Runner... not positive, but I think the mileage is around 34K.....should get several more years out of her at that rate...

Yep, odds are pretty good you'll get more use out of it. This was my 4Runner the other day.

3,200.00 miles. That sounds about right. :rofl

It's funny how foreign vehicles never put the decimal in the odometer. My Silverado does, but you can change it so it doesn't as well. Me being an accountant, I'm used to taking the last 2 zero's off of a number, because those aren't whole numbers. There are rarely decimal places in my spreadsheets, so it is assumed that the last two digits are not whole numbers.

Sorry for my mathematical sidetrack there. 320,000 miles is quite a feat.

This was at the beginning of the 1,100 mile trek to bring my boat home from the dealer - Just outside Duluth, I believe.

Late to the show but what the hell! Believe it or not, I cannot find a pix of the tow rig and boat together. I'm always in the boat with Joy backing into the water. She is not a big pix taker. Here are separate shots of the tow rig and one of the boat on Lake Travis - the one and only time I've seen 43MPH!!

The '09 Ford F250 diesel 4x4 with trailer attached

On Aug. 11, 2010 I got a chance to run the boat mostly empty on calm water in Lake Travis. 43MPH/69KPH WOT. We stayed on "The Island" and slipped next to a 1800HP Tunnel boat from Oklahoma and a 600HP South Bay from Louisiana.

Do we dare discuss fuel economy? I'm seeing about 11-12 mpg (diesel). It's shocking how bad it is. The drag created from these boats being towed is amazing.

I know I could get better if I babied it but when the family is in the truck and trying to get on the water taking it slow just isn't in the cards.

ok with my 4.7L v8 4 runner I get about 10mpg when towing. Pathetic. about 18mpg not towing. it has 320 lb torque which I was pleasantly surprised for an suv. I know thats not much compared to some but better than I thought it would produce.

Difference in night and day(mpg) with my 7.3 turbo diesel at 65 mph and 70 mph. I do have to set the cruise though or I end up at 75 to 80.
