Yep, that is how it works but the trick is hitting the spot you want on the other end. This time I am really hoping to hit a foot wide hole and I would really like it to line up with the pipe I have on the other side but that may be a little greedy ;)
I am really hoping to get 2 pipes in that hole from the other side.

Man... must be nice. When we installed a sprinkler system, we had to use a boring machine and went through 2 bits to get under our 20 ft driveway.
