First trip out this season

March was like May here.....and so far, April feels like June.
I put the trickle charger on the toon last week and Sunday afternoon I pulled it out of the barn. Hooked the water ear-muffs to it and with a quick turn of the key......it came to life. Damn I love these 4 strokes!
We hook up and head for the ramp about 3:00......launch and head thru the canal up to Lake Tellico.....get to a favorite spot close by and anchor out.....15 minutes later we start to hear thunder and see black clouds. So we pull anchor
and head back to the ramp.....load up and pull out just as it starts to sprinkle.........which it did for about 5 minutes on the way home...then stopped and the sun came back out!
Anyway, it felt good to be back out.....AND.....the season is starting EARLY.....
