When we buy a pontoon we want a 22 footer but we don't want the long seats up front.We want to use the front part for fishing and all we want up front is lawn chairs.How many manufacturers will take a custom order.What we have found so far is...If the floorplan is not in the book.We can't help......Anybody encounter this.

Check out Sundancer Pontoons. They will build like you want it. I don't know who you have visited but I think there are others who will also. Now Tracker will change nothing

My voyager has the front half of the boat totally open, there are four holes to drop seats into if you want but you could also put lawn chairs up there...

Looks like the supreme fish is very similar to mine but now they only offer it in a 20', mine is a 21'...

I bought mine used with three toons, all aluminum deck and a 115 on the back, a full enclosure, trailer and ski equipment for under $10k a few years ago. I have been VEY happy with it and it should last my family quite a while!

Bentley makes a fish and a 4 point (has fishing seats on the four corners) Think you can custom order but not 100 percent sure. Their literature is better than the website. Still a lot of boat for the money, believe they only make the 20 an 24 ft though. Good Luck

Suntracker makes a fishin barge.
It has the two seats upfront and two in the back.
It also comes with a live bait tank.
They make it in different lengths.

might also consider just removing the seats up front if you get a good deal or bargan on one. You can always sell them on ebay or craigs list or even at a local marina...Im sure there are people who would buy new seats for a rebuild or remodel. Just a thought.

A real good thought.That is somthing me and the I make your decions without you knowing will look into.THANKS

Also just let them build it with fishing seats and brackets and get the dealer to "delete" the seats and give you credit.
that way, you'd have the mounting bracket holes in place just in case you wanted to mount seats or better for re-sale later if the mounts are already there.

It won't be much, maybe 200 bucks credit.

I fish on Rivers with fast current. The Pontoon I had was a front fish model. I found that it naturally wanted to anchor with the bow facing up current. This made your lines come back at you and under the boat when fishing. If I were to get another fish model Pontoon I think I would get a 4 point fish or a rear fish. The front fish model I had wasn't very user friendly. Mush easier to anchor with the bow facing into the current.

I got the four fishing seats and I just anchor in the rear as you have more room to move to fish in the front, and if you take the kids you can keep them spread out and can get to them when they need help.

Ordering custom could possibly drive up the price when you can get a stock fishing layout on a good deal. If it were me though, I would keep the seats if you order a stock fishing boat. That way you have them when you eventually sell the boat. Nothing worse than trying to buy something used and the seller has dramatically modified the delivered product either through loosing parts, not replacing damaged parts or just not wanting to care for the item.

I give you an example:

Five years ago I was looking for used campers and found one I wanted to check out. When I got there the folks that owned the camper had removed most of the furniture and put regular furniture inside. So most all of the beds were basically gone since the house furniture was not convertable. It was no longer a camper, just a mobile living room. Other items were missing as I assume they just didn't replace them when they were damaged or broken.
