I still want it even it it dosent though!
No, I won't be able to lower the bimini back. I didn't think about it either during placement. But then again. I don't usually tow. I have a slip with a lift. Just brought it home for working on it. I could have moved it further back to accommodate that though. I plan on strapping it to the tower for towing.

Thanks Kalop!

Finished the wakeboard tower install today. All I have left is reinstalling my batteries and hanging the speakers.

The good:
Seems to be very sturdy and high quality. It went together very easily once I got the boat all apart. You definitely need a helper or two to install this. I think it looks amazing.

The bad:
I don't think they planned this very well. The only route for for the wiring for the stern light has to go thru the front leg to go up. Problem is there is no route to the back leg due to the way it is constructed. And you need to be on the back to hook up the light.
It's hard to explain unless you see it. My wire had to exit the front tube exposed to the elements and enter the back tube to hook up lights and speakers.

Yes, swim platform came stock.

I fixed my bimini issue. I think the wakeboard tower and bimini tie together looks like it came from the factory that way.
So, did I do good?

That really looks sharp! I think you will love having that tower. Great idea to make the bimini nice and sturdy by attaching it, too. Did you weld that bracket for the bimini top rail to the tower? Is that how it is attached?

I was getting ready to pull the trigger yesterday. I called Luke at H20Sports to see if I could get it at $719.00. (same price that was on ebay) He said I could but I would have to pay $50.00 shipping. It was still a go untill I asked a question on pulling tubes, Luke stated, "he wouldnt recommend it" (I figured for leagal reasons) I asked if it was you would you tow a tube using the tower. Luke said no it puts to much strain on the tower, where as pulling a skier or knee boarder very little strain. That pritty much made my decision. So far I have only pulled tubes with mu boat. The only thing I could use it for is to hang speakers. I already have a nice sterio system. I am tring to find a tow bar like the one tim has on his boat below the tower for a I/O.

Tim, the tower sure looks nice on you boat. If you ever use it to pull tubes let me know how it works, you might change my mind.

Thanks,

No, I took the attachment points off of the railing and screwed them on with stainless screws.
The tower tubing is pretty thick. Holds real good.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend pulling a tube with it either. It is very solid, and mine is definitely bolted down better than most. I have plates on the bottom side of the deck I put in. I also made the front locations go thru a cross brace. My furniture and railing both tighten down on top of the front brackets. But again, Thats why I'm keeping my original tow point for tubing.

I got my speakers installed and they sound great. I also have neoprene cover coming for them to protect during storage. They thru in a flag brace for the tower and a tow rope for wake boarding!

Pics to come soon!
