Thanks, 1roadking. I'll check that out. We really love our '07 South Bay, but it was the Bennington ESP package that first got our attention to swing over to pontoons. Until a ride on the ESP, I had never looked twice at a pontoon. Sometimes, since it is almost always just the 2 of us and our 2 jack russell's, I wonder what it would be like to have a Bennington ESP, that is smaller than our current boat. Truthfully, I'll probably never make a change, but I am always intrigued by that possibility.

I ended up getting an ESP in a 20ft due to a docking restriction. I love the boat, it handles huge wakes and rough water like a champ even with a large load. I regularly run my boat at close to full capacity Nd it never feels unsafe or over burdened. It really is an amazing set up for both handling and ride quality. Super happy with my boat.

Apex( gillgetter, quest)pontoons makes a 16' tri toon. A local dealer has a video on youtube of it in action. I know how much you guys love PBD. so you can watch their test of it L.O.L. They had a 18' with a 90 going 35 mph. Pretty good if you ask me. I took a tour of their whole operation when I orderd my seats for my rebuild and they are pretty cool guys there. If you want a small tri toon I think they make the smallest on the market. They had a 20' version at the dertoit boat show when it was unvailed that was running over 40 mph. with a 115 merc. optimax.
