This question is for Ed

Hi Ed. Me and the Mrs. are looking to upgrade and for us, the bigger, the better. We have a 24 ft Starcraft but we are liking the bigger boats we see. I like the 32 footer you have, but I notice that the cabin takes up alot of space on your deck. I like to take 6 to 10 people on my boat. With the cabin on yours, do you have enough sitting room for that many? Also, what do you use your cabin area for? Cooking and seating? Or is it more of a perminant bemini top? Also, if you wouldn't mind giving me the pro's and con's that youve found on your boat, as opposed to having a large open floor plan like a traditional pontoon.

Thought I would ask an actual consumer of a product, rather than just look at the boat on the internet!

Thanks for all your help.

We decided to buy the Party Cruiser after testing an Adventure Craft and looking at Catamaran Cruisers. The Party Cruiser is a perfect blend of open space and enclosed cabin. We've had 16 aboard during Canal Days and it's still not cramped. 6-10 will not be an issue at all, that's about the size of the people we take out on the weekends. You have the open stern area and the bow area which are both HUGE, not to mention teh upper deck that everyone loves. The cabin is setup like an RV and we used it for staying overnight, cooking, making coffee. showers, head, etc.

The weak point is the rear canvas, it leaks here and there but I fixed it with seam sealer. The newer Party Cruisers have the roof extended over the stern sleeping area, which in my opinion is a better choice than canvas.

The sleeper inside the cabin is more for short people/kids and the rear and bow sleeping area for adults. We usually sleep up front with the bimini extended and let our less outdoorsy guests sleep in the stern sleeper unless it's just Chery and I.

I'd buy another Party Cruiser in a heartbeat, we love it. If you need pics of anything, I'll post them here. If you were local you be welcome to come check ours out if you wish.

-Ed

Much more than you do and I can spell, Einstein. :tofunny Tooning Around aka "Goofy" (Malcolm Sohm from Conrad Marine on Lake Norman, NC) is a developmentally disabled fellow that is pissed because I helped expose him for what he really is, a fraud.

He follows me around the internet trying to sell a product called "Tap Fins" that void hull warranties. If your dealer gives you the option of installing them, laugh and walk away.
