Bently Pontoons.... Heard the doors where closed??? What do you know?

They were at the Nashville Boat Show in mid January. Looked like they were going strong to me!!! Dunno!!!!

I don't know where you are located, I am in KY. Lots of 08 and 09 Bentleys in 'Boat Trader' . You can use my zip in the dealer locate (40330).

Went to the Mid Atlantic boat show , not a Bently to be found or dealer?

Think it may be reverting back to the previous owner. Not sure if it was in the contract, that the old owner would take it back if the new owner couldn't make a go of it or what. Sales are slow in toons like everything else.

I see on the other web ... Bently is out, so much for life time warranties, How long did they last.. ?

another argument for buying a used toon, no guarantee that the
warranty's going to be honored anyway.

I went to the Raleigh,NC boat show last weekend and the word was that Bentley had permanently shut the doors on their manufacturing facility down in Columbia,SC. The local Bentley dealer was blowing out his remaining inventory at or below dealer cost.

would that dealer have the boats on consignment or did he prepay for all of them?
i ask because i wouldn't pay dealer cost--even the dealer cost includes money to
cover the warranty, which no longer exists. you're essentially buying a used boat,
any problems are yours. they say when you tow a new boat off the lot it loses
20% to 30% of its value, so i would figure that in on these.

I don't know the details on how the boats were purchased. The dealer was Chatlee of Sandford,NC.
