I am sure its just me but I keep mine on a slip, and drag it off ever 6 to 10 weeks over the summer to clean it up and I pull it through a car wash and pressure wash the carpet. Just wondering what others do. Its home right now for the first cleaning lol dropped a tub of chicken liver on it a few weeks ago so it needed it bad.

I scrub the seats & fencing with a drill brush. (I let the drill do the work instead of my arms). Then power wash the carpet & the toons.
I only started power washing the carpet last year. I was always afraid that it would loosen the carpet. But after checking with some guys on this forum who said it will be fine, I gave it a shot. It's a hell of a lot easier with the power washer than the way I was doing it before. :hammer :dance

It sure is a lot easer, on mine this time around it is fish slime, chicken liver, several drink boxes, a soda or 3 and mmm at least 10 beach trips worth of ground in mud and sand, and it looks brand new again and ready for the next 8 weeks. The seats arnt bad, but I keep after them, I keep 303 and the tuff stuff vinyl cleaner for touch ups. I will go over the seats at least once ever 4 weeks. But its kept under a mooring cover so its kept to a minim.

For those who don't do the car wash but pressure wash at home, do you use straight water or soap it up first?

We do the car wash at the end of each season. Chicken Livers are not ALLOWED on our boat!!!

I use dish soap & spray some SimpleGreen on, scrub a little with a broom then power wash. It looks great until... the lotion, chips, salsa, juice, soda, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard & ketchup get all over it. Funny, I've never spilled any beer & I've never had any chicken livers on it. :rofl

I used LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner, from Dollar General. Dilluted 50% and soak her down, then rinse it until the suds are gone. Working from the aft forward, with the trailer jack down as far as it will go to drain the water off the front of the boat. After it dries I broom up the nap and spray on stain guard in high traffic areas, every other cleaning.

Thanks for the tips. I've got lots of "Dollar Store" cleaners around. Can't make it look any worse. Gonna get right on it if this rain ever stops :(

Aha! You figured me out! No, most of my fishing is for trout, and similar stupid fishes that will try to eat a flashy piece of metal, or a fuzzy fishhook disguised as a non-existent insect.

But I DO like to EAT me some catfish!!!

I use a vacuum cleaner I recently bought for this. Prior to that, I also went to the sink. But the new vacuum cleaner with the wet cleaning function does a very good job. I thought for a long time which vacuum cleaner is suitable for me, but I could not choose, there was no objective opinion. But one day I came home and once again began to browse information on the Internet and came across the site https://cleanersexpert.com/vacmaster-vwm510-review/ on which I saw many reviews on various models. And by comparison, I chose one Vacmaster VWM510 vacuum cleaner, which personally suited me by all criteria, it is lightweight, compact and powerful.
