Had a GREAT weekend and thought I'd share just a couple of pics with y'all. On Saturday I headed out to the dealership to check out my new 'toon, take her for a test drive, and sign the papers. Loaded her up and took her to her new home on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, TX. Saturday afternoon we went for a short cruise with the kids, but I consider this more of a "test run" on the lake. Yesterday we were able to leave the kids at home with a sitter and give her a proper "maiden voyage." No pics of the boat in the water yet 'cause I thought it a BAD idea to take a picture with my cell phone from the water!! But, a great time was had by all and what a great way to celebrate the "Admiral's" birthday!!!!
Loaded up and taking her home:
Her "Best side," wouldn't you agree??
UnBelizable Therapy at her new home (waiting for delivery of the lift)
The Admiral let a couple of her friends help celebrate her birthday on our Maiden Voyage
Can't wait for more times like this...
...and DEFINITELY more times like THIS!!!
Cheers, and surely more pics to come as the season has just begun!!!!!

WOW! Therapy it is. Great looking toon. Looks to be all set up for water sports and lots of fun times in the future. Let us know what top speed is when she's broken in.

Thanks, Sunnyside. We're certainly going to enjoy it. Can't wait to get the motor broke in (broken in?), but I can tell you this...she will scoot! I pushed her up to WOT for a brief bit and with a load of 6 people (my friend, Chunk, and I are NOT small guys!), two heavy coolers of ice and beer and all other gear, plus wind and choppy water, I was still able to get her up to 41. When everything is "in tune" and I have a light load and still waters, I can see her pushing upper 40s and possibly breaking the 50 mark. That 250 SHO is a freaking beast!

Tsip85,
Nice motor, I just picked up my new boat this weekend and we put the same motor you have on ours. So far, I like what I feel and hear from it. I am trying hard to stick to the 10 hour "break in" suggestions and not crank it WOT, but I have a few times already just to see what it does?
Anyhow, good luck and may these motors give us many hours of care free boating!!!!!!!!!!!
John
