So this new product just came out - what if the pontoons were covered with this - no growth, stains, etc.?

It would be floating on top of water, I think you missed the no high water presure warning, running the boat would take it off the toons

I wonder if it would help with the mold that grows on the stern?

I got to agree with herb, you would theoreticaly power wash it off the first trip across the lake, now that being said plenty of theories are proven wrong by simply trying it out if its not going to break your bank I don't see the harm in trying it out as long as you go into it with a its worth a shot attitude and not a if this don't work I'm sinking this bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep attitude

When I first saw the Sharkhide product, I was thinking it might really improve the "slickness" of the toons in the water. Kinda like the stuff the Navy uses on subs - like real shark hide - kinda rough but slick. Thought it would break up the water tension and make the toons slide through the water much better. Truth is, it doesn't work that way. And with small boats, it might add too much weight.

Interesting, this same discussion re Never Wet is showing up on kayak fishing forums. Nobody has tried it there either. Come on tooners - somebody give it a go!
