We have been out there for 8 months when we first moved there the lake was full it 5 feet down now..I have been told that every few years it will drop that much, now that Dallas is taking water out of it..Plus we have not had a lot of rain this year.....I am hoping that it will come back up soon this spring...we had a big rain last week witch brought it up a foot....
or it will make a great place to start a garden....The guys will be done with the rails today..There will be a lot of photos taken from there...The road goes on forever and the party never ends....Hold my beer and watch this!!

Lakedaddy; I am sure the local government will help you out by lowering your property taxes when the water is low. You do lose some use of your property for a short time. We have a local lake here that is subject to the same thing in the summer months. Alcoa Aluminum controls the water level as they maintain the Dam that impounds the water. Some of the property owners here tried to get the County to do just that but it did not work.

Looking good Lakedaddy!

If that water doesn't come up soon you may look into renting a backhoe and dig your way out to the water!

Nice!!!

Come on water!! :guitar

Just down at our lake yesterday to sit on the shore and do some fishing.
Didnt catch anything, but i was a Great day!!! 80 degrees.. nice breeze...many boats putting around and spring maintenance going on...

Hate to rub it in but our lake is waaaay full.... prob over 100%. About 5-7 foot higher then last year, and last year it was full...
We should open the flood gates and drop some into your lake!

Cant wait to drop the toon back in the slip!!!
Soon.... weather permitting, in 2 weeks!! :nana :nana
