Polished My 'Toons! Before/After Pics
Finally had a day off and some nice weather. Went to Fleet Farm and bought a variable speed buffer and a polishing pad. Used Blue Magic Aluminum Polish (good stuff!) and went to town. Started at about 8:30am and finished about about 1pm with a few sammich breaks in between.
Here are the before and after pics.

You think they'd be beneficial on a tri-toon with factory lifting strakes?FloterBoter wrote:nice!

Now that you've polished, make sure and apply Sharkhide before you put it in the water. Polished mine last spring and applied Sharkhide, looks just like it did when i finished.

Now I can see them. Looks great. If you tire of having the Bimini laying on your rear deck pad when in down position I have a fix for that. If interested I will get some close up pics of my modifications.
You can see what I did with uprights in rear. I leave the dark part attached to rail and unbolt and lay top inside slots. Keeps top off pad yet down for towing and nice weather. I can access changing room in down position

Oh hell yeah - that looks sweet. Any info would be appreciated. I was not crazy about towing with that thing bouncing around all the time. I also need to relocated the white light that's on the bimini.lakerunner wrote:Now I can see them. Looks great.
