do they work ok with the mist spraying outside the boat area, i.e. drifting down into the lake?
i realize the wind would blow some aboard, but if i do this someday i might use lake water and
don't want it spraying all over the furniture. i have a 12 gallon freshwater tank i could also
hook it to, but that tank is more for the sink and i don't like refilling it all the time.

these systems look so trivial, i cannot believe anyone would pay 300+ bucks for one.
maybe i'm in the wrong business.

It's a high pressure system and it so fine it not supposed to get you wet , we wired a few of them here for people standing in lines to keep them from passing out.

It would work better in a dry climate than a humid one like we have, but even in my one work truck without A/C the misting works down the road with the air moving and dropped the temp 10 degrees .

I remember on that other shitty place a few years ago someone was talking about misters using some kind of filter in line to keep nozzles clear. A pump would sure have to have a high pressure to work right. I have a mister setup for my AC compressor to help it in hot summer months.

I have a coupe of pump up sprayers that I use when it gets really hot. Think I got the last one at Walgreens. I put ice in them and keep them in the cooler. The mist is so fine you don't get wet but it does make you feel much better, not a permanent fix but a great way to cool down when it is 100 degrees. Most sporting goods places should also carry them. The smaller of the two has a belt clip and a clip on the nozzle to attach it to your shirt.

I have one that works off house pressure that seems to work pretty good on our back deck, I may have to buy a cheap 12v water pump and see how they work on the toon this summer!
