Power Bimini tops

Anyone have the power top that Pontoonstuff has on sale ?
Sure looks good to these old eyes. Gettin harder and harder to raise mine by myself anymore. That's with no wind even.
Would really like to get some real world input before I pull the trigger on one. Retired on a fixed income tends to make one a bit cautious before spending money.
Appreciate any and all input. Thanks in advance.

I have one and have had over a year now. Installed it my self without a problem. It is great just need to make sure you put it where you want the most shade. What I like about it is you can have it provide more or less shade in the front or rear. Just depending when you and the family is sitting at the time or how the sun is shining

I installed one a month ago works great haven't wired up the wireless remote yet, probably do that this winter.

Thanks gentleman. Great info so far. I am really wanting one.
The video on the top shows it as being pretty sturdy in the " Radar bridge " position. Have either of you run in that position and is it stable.

I have run mine all the way down, all the way up open and all the way up fully closed mid way up I think about in any position I could put it in and have had no problems with. It is a very sturdy top. Only issue I have had is with the remote sometimes it will not work and that may be because of where I have the box for it. But not a big deal since I use the toggle switch and haven't had much of a need to lowere and raise it when not on the boat

I'm 63 and have a hard time getting mine up too What I've found really useful is a docking hook.

I get under mine and use my legs to raise it pushing up with the hook. I can then reach over and move one of the supports to lock position. I then extend the hook to pull the front cross bar to the front, unfurling the bimini. I normally do not keep mine all the way down to the highway position as I see you do for storage.

A hook is a worthwhile investment so getting one and trying it would cost little.

I have 2 on my boat. Installed them back in 2012. I like them a lot. never hooked up the remotes as I had no need for them.
google pwr arm bimini top and you will see a short video of my boat when I installed them. The canvas is kind of thin material. The bows are far apart and the top will pond water if you leave them up in the rain. I ordered a couple more bows to install between the existing ones but never did that either. All in all I like the tops, they work great and recommend them.

Thanks. Good to know about the pooling water stuff. I trailer so the only time the top is up is when the wife and I are on the boat.
