Anybody have any reviews on Mercury troll control option where you can slow rpm up or down by pushing button on speedo gage ?

Just ignore the trolls.
I repeat, do not feed the trolls.
Oh, wait - you're actually talking about legit boating stuff?

Not mercury, but love it on Suzuki and Yamaha outboards I've used. I'm sure works the same buy increasing/decreasing the RPM by 50 each click.

I have it on my Mercury. I don't use it other then once or twice, to see how it works.
It worked. I thought it got the speed from my gps, so it would speed up or slow down the motor depending on currents, tide, wind.

How low would it let you idle? Our biggest issue using the main motor (2003 90HP 2stroke) for any trolling is that it only goes down to around ~900RPM. Any lower and it will kick into neutral.
