new decking lizard skin?

anyone use lizard skin or similar product on their new pontoon decking? I used marine grade plywood with marine grade carpet and the plywood got soft after ten years or so.
Have asked on some other boards and they recommended using lizard skin. They said it will stick to both the wood and elevator bolts.
If anyone has used it, did you coat both sides or just the top? I dont have belly skins.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Of course, that depends on the size of the lizard! Are they little geckos, or huge marine iguanas?

I put the solid vinyl floor in mine, my floor was solid even 20 years old, but we still replaced the flooring, so someone must have used the wrong wood on it, but Pontoon stuff can set you up with both with just a quick call

Wonder how big of a chip a .22LR would leave in the brick? If I found that gila monster hanging off the side of my house I'd be tempted to unload two barrels worth of buck at the SOB......
