Batteries

I am starting the tear down on the old beast this weekend. I may be a little premature on this question, but it popped in my head last night and I thought I would throw it out there to get opinions. What kind of battery and charging system should I buy? I know I need a deep cycle, I will be running a CD player/stereo, a depth finder/fish finder, and a couple of phone chargers. We do not have a trolling motor. We don't boat at night so there generally will not be any lights run. I really don't think I will have a need for more than one battery. Any suggestions?

A Group 24 Marine Deep Cycle/Starting battery would be acceptable in size, a Group 27 Marine Deep Cycle/Starting battery would be much better.... As to needing a 2nd battery as well as an isolation/charging switch is a matter of how much do you plan on playing around using up your battery without the engine running? If no more than a couple hours of music played without some big ass booster eating up reserve cap then you will be fine with a single battery to which if buying new I'd up the ante and get the Group 27M and if desired down the bayou you can always add the 2nd battery system...

Thanks Teecro, I think I have decided on the group 27 battery and carry a jump booster for insurance.
