I own a Harris and when I was looking several years ago I was shocked at used prices. I guess the good news is that Harris Toons hold their value. I know that doesn't help you much, but all you can do is compare boats on different sites and dealers. Good luck!

I paid right at 30k for a new 2012...150 Verado...4 years ago...

Seems high for a now 10yr old boat, but what are the specifics? Model, length, tri-toon? I know they build great boats, but, if thats a 2 toon, low or even mid range model, It's way to high. Off course it could have 2 hours on it & stored inside for 9yrs, hard to say for sure without more info.

More info !! 2006 Harris Super Sunliner 220. Interior was recently replaced. Bimi and full cover. Guages were replaced when interior redone. Hours are list as <80, but think that is based on guage replacement. Only going buy many photos, and will "eyeball" in a few days. It's a craiglist listing but from a dealer near-by. My concerns are the same on a 10 year old "two tube" toon. Looks good and clean, but that's only from photos. NADA does price out at just under 20K high retail. Looking for any and all input!! Thanks for the help !!! Sami :biggrin2

NADA means National Automobile Dealer's Association. Their boat values are works of fiction being published by people that don't know the bow from the stern.

Their guides are used by banks and credit unions to back up the amount advanced on loans. It doesn't mean the boats are worth that much, however.

I like to use online sources like BoatTraders.com to compare like boats to like boats.

best advice i can give....

just like buying a used car... take it to a reputable mechanic before you buy.

the $100 or so you'll spend, may save you thousands.
