I did a search on the forum and only found the grill made from a toilet.

Does anyone have a grill and if so what brand. Or grill rail mount brackets??

This is what I purchased. I used the sam pedestal used on my table to mount the grill on the rear platform of the boat

Try searching the forum again. I found 60 pages of discussion threads when I searched for "grills". Read the comments and the discussion topics, then open the threads. There are lots of discussions about grill brands and grill mountings along with lots of photos. Start with the discussion "What have you added to your pontoon" (I believe that's the name of the discussion) then open some of the other discussions. Good luck! You'll find tons of info on the forum.

Little effort, but its easy to convert a home grill to a boat grill.
Have a bass boat and I've use the gas pedestals on seats before.
Use L brackets to secure the tables on the sides, so they are fixed and secure. Grill raises itself when you push the black levers down, to cookout height then you push the levers down, little pressure on the grill it goes back down where you can see fine over it.
Bottle is behind the captains seat run a line down the side so bottle and fire are a long way from each other. Grill is a IR so there is no flair up on fires.

I move mine around the toon using a rod holder mount. In the rear when running the boat and on the side or front when cooking.

I would want any grill to stay away from my upholstery.

I got my home gas grill too close to my house, and it melted the vinyl siding on the fireplace chase. I've got to replace the siding before I can put the house on the market.

I've got a Kuuma mounted over the water. I just had to turn the screws in from the back because my fence goes all the way up to the rail. It works great. I leave it on all season. Picked up a cover for a Weber table top grill for 10 bucks at Lowes that fits perfectly.

I have been researching grills for my pontoon. Although I haven't purchased yet I've made some inroads as to what I want in a grill. I'll try and list them in order of importance :
1. All stainless including the grill. (ease of cleaning)
2. Two burner and a total of at least 20,000 btus (good sear on steaks and burgers, wide temp range for cooking)
3. Locking cover tall enough for cooking different foods.
4. Able to use 20lb propane bottles.
5. Able to be rail mounted and removed easily.
6. Less than $150.00. (I'm frugal)

Both Lowes and Home Depot have portable grills that fit the above criteria for less than $150.00. Hope this helps you answer some questions about grills.

Works on the toon, works for a quick picnic, works for just about anything where I need to be able to move a grill quick and easy.

Made by Coleman and available lots of places. I bought mine at Menards.




I also have a "Grill Mat" which is a fireproof/heatproof rug to protect the vinyl flooring.

I have the old version of that grill. I was thinking of trying to rail mount it. Maybe a Grill Mat under it and just setting it up might work. Thanks!
