Hard top braces

Another questions.

We think we found why our hard top is rocking so much. There seems to be a brace missing on the back, anyway there are some empty holes where it looks like a brace should go.
Anyone have one and know for sure?

Do you have any pics of it? I have 2 friends with hard tops.

our hard top bolts to the railings and rock a LOT so i used "very small" cable in a big V from the top outer corners to the middle of the floor behind the rear gate, then i used 2 small turn buckles to tighten the cables and no more shake or rock. the cables are hard to see.... and the way they are set up when i fold the top down they just lay faward and i dont have to do anything with them :)

We had a hardtop on an old '86 toon that rocked like crazy. I used some flat metal and clamps to gusset the top and removed a lot of the movement.

oops, sorry I sent it way too big. You can take it off or resize it, not sure of how to do that either!

Sorry I can not help. The ones that my friends have are solid hard tops and do not fold down.

My husband looked closer and found all the bolts just needed to be tightened down more and replaced under the side! He also looked at the guy's that posted on here and rigged up a similar
contraption. It does a whole lot better.
The hard top seems to be alot cooler than the soft fold down we had.. We went out this week and it was nice even tho it was nearly 90 degrees.

I have a similar top on my boat with similar problem. However I am trying to find replacement vinyl for the rubrail that surrounds the top. Any ideas? anyone?
