Adding a Dolphin Fin to the Outboard?

#1 Post by 04Ram2500Hemi » Tue Mar 22, 2016 5:59 pm

We added a Dolphin Fin years ago to my dads 1991 Larson 19ft Cuddy Cabin with the inboard/outboard motor, and it did a lot of good for the hull shot. I'm wondering if there are any thoughts about doing this with a pontoon boat?

I used to use them on my older boats, also. They seemed to give me more stern lift, trim range and reduce porpoising, too. They did scrub off a few mph's. I don't see why not to try it. I used the DolFins and the Stingray's on several of them.
