Does anyone know anything about the digital displays

I am talking about the displays that South Bay uses in their pontoons. I did not get any sort of manual and it is not real clear how everything works. 90 hp evinrude pontoon series motor, but it is not a BRP display. Not even sure if there should be a manual. Any help is appreciated. 2015 SB 530 CR.

Yes, it is a Murphy and I looked at the documents they show. But, they really do not tell anything. I believeSouth Bay has the display customized for their boats. It looks like the 380 but the actual display is not like they show.

No, they are clueless. The guy thought it was a fish finder in the middle of the dash. Very frustrating when I know more that they do.

Yep, we have the same one on our Berkshire and it's been set up special for Forest Marine Boats (Berkshire, South Bay, Xcursion). Although mine says it's Model #HV480. Very limited choices of: RPM; Fuel; Trim; Volts; and we have Depth and Water Temp (option). There is also a VERY hard to read hour meter at the bottom of the screen. It's black font against a nearly dark background. The font is tiny less than an 1/8" and in some lighting I can't read it.
I received a 18 page flier on the unit and it's specs, instructions, installation info and wiring pin assignments. If you didn't receive this, I'd be happy to scan the document and sent it to you..... Let me know if you want it. We are at our lake home now and I think our printer will scan.....

Yes, that would be great. I have no idea what the model numbers are. I assume 350 or 380 because of the size, but I think they are monochromatic not color like ours. Dumb question, but does your boat have a speedometer? Ours does not have one that I can find. The dealer told me it was in that display, but not that I can find. They also told me I have a depth sounder. It does not. So they gave me a Lowrance fish finder and installed it. Let me know what contact info you need.

Wow that is frustrating. I can't believe the dealership let you leave with such poor instruction. If I were you, I would contact South Bay direct and tell them what's going on. They want happy customers and this should be easy for them to rectify.
Best of luck.

wow, That is pathetic. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a car or boat dealer and knew far more about there product than they did. They carry a limited selection, there's no excuse for not having every answer.

Give me a an hour or so... got to get the printer out of the closet and remember how to scan on it..... since I retired a year ago, I don't need to use it much. I'll see if I can attach it here after I get it loaded on the computer.
As for our boat having a speedometer...... NO from the factory, or through the digital dash instrument. HOWEVER, I have a nice Garmin chart plotter which has GPS a very accurate speed reading, including a decimal point 1/10 mph too. I also downloaded a free APP to my iPhone called "Speedometer" that I can use incase I don't have the Garmin on board.
We did opt for the Berkshire option for "Depth finder" and "Water Temp"........ with that option, it DOES show up on the Digital Instrument.
Be back to you shortly....

OK...... took 4 tries to get my HP printer to cooperate
Our forum site will NOT allow a pdf file to be uploaded. it's a 26 MB file. Please send me a private message, or reply to this and I will just email the file to your email address......
Hope this uploads. I saved it as a pdf. Keep in mind, this instruction book show other options that you, and I may or may not have. Mine was also set up by my Berkshire Dealer upon delivery...... it was all working properly when we took delivery.

Thanks for all the replies etc. everyone has been helpful. just to verify everything, I went and spoke to the dealer this afternoon. As noted before, they knew nothing about the display and had no knowledge of any manual or paperwork related to it. Also I already wrote South Bay directly about this and some other things. Have not heard from them yet.

Hopefully, you received the email I sent you with the 18 page instruction booklet on the display. If not, let me know and we'll try again, or try your spam folder. It was a 26 MB file.
As mentioned in my email, if you need any screen shot photos of the display pages, we will be on our boat Saturday, as long as the weather gets better. next two days are supposed to rain here.
