OK on the front deck and the swim platform at the back of my boat gets mold on the carpet. I clean it up with some carpet cleaner, and the crap comes back. Is there anything I can put on the carpet to keep this crap from coming back, other than buying a new cover that covers the entire boat.

How 'bout Lysol or some other kind of disinfectant?
just spray it on every so often to maintain things.

Tried that and Purple power, Scrubed the carpet clean then hosed it off then took the shop vac and vac'd the carpet dry. It will stay clean for a day or two then the stuff comes back, slowly but surely. Thanks

Found these at HD. The Moldex trigger spray says safe to use on carpet.

We bought the Moldex and had no luck with it. It didn't effect it at all.

seen on the internet to use baking soda, vinegar. The only problem....it didn't say how much of each. Iguess I'll try 50/50. Thought about taking the carpet off the swim deck on the back and put some kind of flooring similar to wooden deck. I have seen this on some of the Avalon and AquaPatio Toons.

Hey thanks, I have scrubbed with a brush and a good strong cleaner and got rid of this stuff for a little while, but after it gets wet again the crap comes back. I think it is on the wood or the carpet backing. I am going to try this mix the wife found on the internet,...vinegar,baking soda, and bleach, I will let you know what I have done.... good or bad.

Oh by the way baking soda and vinegar makes bleach.
Go to homo depot and get some Jo-Max and mix with bleach to instructions, the jo-max kills the mold and bleach kills the green.

I have a real big problem on the swim deck at the back of the boat.
