Let's see. I would definitely go with 3 toons and 2 batteries. I really like my seagrass flooring. No one else mentioned it, but I love my bar. We have a bar with bottle holders underneath and 3 bar stools surrounding it. I didn't think we would use it much, but it always becomes the go to spot. Also whatever engine size you think you need, go a step higher.

Must haves for us included:

Vinyl flooring
3 toons with lifting strakes
Hydraulic Power Steering ( if over 150 hp)
Full under skinning
In Floor Storage
When we bought the 3 Toon Performance package, it also included a 52 gallon fuel tank...... NICE !!! Glad I have the larger tank
Dual Batteries with Switch and built in battery charging system.

As for engine choices, our max rated is 300 hp...... We went with 200 Yamaha as it was the best bang for the buck, and it's performance and fuel economy was really about the best combo for our boat. If money was no issue, I would have gone to the 300 hp, but would only gain a few miles per hour top end, and I really never run out boat wide open except out running a thunderstorm. Also, our Manufacturer ( Berkshire) which is part of Forest Marine, who also makes South Bay, Trifecta, and used to make XCursion is partnered with Mercury Marine........ I wanted a Yamaha, which was no issue, but could have likely bought a comparable Merc for less $$$. Bennington is partnered with Yamaha.

We had other must haves, but they were stuff like upgraded, pumped up Stereo, LED lighting, Stainless Tow Bar, LED Docking Lights, Tall Back Skipper's seat, and more cushy stuff.

What size Qwest and where do you live? That sounds WAAAYYY high for the adventure line. I believe you need to buy the LS line to get most of the options, Or at least that's how it was. Love mine, Nice boats.

have a link to the boat on the first page, my second post in the tread.

I'm in central Ohio.

The boat and the options package aren't bad, the price gets high when you add the trailer and motor.

For fishing, look into the "remote controlled" trolling motors by MinnKota. The "anchor feature" is amazing!

There are several models to choose from... For freshwater, there's the Ulterra and Terrova models.
The ability to move your boat from anywhere in your boat is, a very good thing!

Oh Yea, I forgot to scroll for the specs. Just trying to help here not to hassle you, I looked at these boats for a year before I bought. That boat with a 40hp 2 log? was going for under 20g's last year. Go on boat trader and check out some of the dealers IE: " A BOAT HOUSE" Georgia, They usually have a huge selection with prices. Unless you're talking tri-toon or I'm missing something. I paid 32 for mine with a merc 115hp, tri-toon with almost every option & trailer. With 2 tubes and a 60hp the LS would have been 22 with trailer. just look around. I've also noticed marinas already cutting prices pretty good on the 2016's if you can find one on the lot. Just noticed you're in Ohio, some big dealers up that way.

Did you buy off the lot or order it?

the terranova is not a cheap motor, I've looked into before for the bass boat.

We plan on buying in the late fall when prices are supposed to be better, but I'm worried that if we order their will be no price break.

What I do not see on the layout is some sort of changing room and a small porta potty. That was a "must have" on ours since we party a bit with a boatload of folks. Also good music setup - we ended up dumping the "Chinas Finest" that came on our boat to add a real stereo with better speakers and amp under helm. The original did not have any usb inputs or bluetooth connectivity and only 15 watts output to four cheap speakers. You sound like more of a fishing crew will be hanging on your setup.

I would now go with 3rd tube (tri) better stability, improved speed for same motor size 115 and up, more storage, and usually larger gas tank.

One thing I did do right is I had waste down installed. Don't know how I would manage cleaning deck, and fish blood without it.
Mine works well, but would increase size (water pressure) if this one ever fails.

In the fall your price break will be on existing boats that dealers are desperate to get off the showroom floor. If your planningon oordering custom wait a few months for boat show season. You can often apply the boat show incentives to a custom order.

I had to order, couldn't find one anywhere with all the options.

Having to deal with a bridge on a regular basis....I love my power bimini top. Like my power anchors as well.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
