Well, Its been a dry few weeks, and the lake is low. Went out a few days ago to get on the pontoon, and couldn't get the dang thing off the lift! Water is too low right now. Talked to my neighbors, they are all in the same boat (pun intended). One neighbor has been stuck in their lift for 2 weeks.
I need an inch of rain at least....c'mon rain!
I also could use a dock extension...who wants to chip in

Building onto wooden decks is easy and not too expensive.
It's that danged $200 I have to pay to TVA and the Army Corp of Engineers to make any dock modifications.
They even charge new property owners $200 just to change the name on the deck/dock permit.
We're fortunate to have water levels more not more than 3' in a year. TVA drops the water level to the lowest point in Feb & March for seawall and boat ramp repairs. Otherwise, we're full pool all the time producing 662 kw/hrs. from the incredible Wilson Dam.

You can't power yourself off? This happened to me a few years back and I powered myself off.

I probably could have, but I was given it quite a bit without budging. Water was so low the skeg was about 6 inches off the bottom, I was scared of sucking in rocks and debris.
Good news, we had a ton of rain and water came up over a foot. I'm back toonin!
