First launch with a PWR Arm Bimini

I had the opportunity to put the toon on the water today, Top worked great! So much easier then the old Bimini.

For those that have one, what position is your bimini in while towing. I ask because I damn near lost my cover while towing, both zippers unzipped due to flapping in the wind. Bimini was in the stow position. I ended up using a piece of wire and wired both zippers together to keep them from unzipping.

I tow mine in the full down position, never had a problem.

Mine in full down position also. But I have found sometimes flapping is a problem so I do what you did I have a snap clip and I clip both zipper ends together.

Yeah, I found out the hard way that the wind buffeting will loosen the zippers. The boot doesn't fit near as tight as the OEM boot on the OEM Bimini.

I used a piece of 14 gauge wire (all I had) to wire the zippers from backing off.

I bought some velcro.
I wrap all the boots before towing.
If you don't I'd fear the stitching would also take a beating.

Seems if I recall correctly on my Sun Tracker cover the zippers start in the middle and go outward (?) and then for sure the ends have a wrap-around strap with a snap so this type of thing can't happen... Just can't recall how the covers fit on my other two bimini tops...
