The original rocker switch used from 96 to present is no longer available and now you must replace the remote handle with a new one with pushbuttons embedded.
My question is: how do you like it? Does it work better & last longer than the troublesome rocker switch?
Ive temporarily replaced my defective switch with a momentary toggle.

Given the location, I assume that is the trim switch. Looks like a pretty good job to me, if it works I would probably stick with the switch you have installed already and if you believe it durable enough to handle the electrical load.
