Installed Garmin, Top Speed & MPG

I Got in my new Garmin 741 with Chirp transducer (traditional and VU model) Wednesday and installed. Everything worked well over the weekend and the HD Mapping worked great at Lake Eufaula / Walter F George in Alabama. I reached a blistering top speed of 25 mph @ 5200 rpm with 6 people, full fuel, 400+# gear and Top up. I got 28 MPH at 5800 last week on hand held with top down, 2 adults and 100# gear and half fuel. Looks Like cruising at 20 mph yields right at 5 MPG on fuel burn. I have got to get use to this phenomenon of not burning $300+ a day in fuel :lol3 .

Looks great.... PS. Those are almost the identical numbers I get with my Bentley Elite Admiral 220 with Suzuki 115hp & Strakes. I get close to 30mph solo and around 25 with 6 people. prop is a 14x17 3 blade aluminum. I haven't been able to test mpg yet, but that sounds close. Thanks for sharing.

HaganJeff sounds good. Anything I may need to look for maintenance wise with a Bentley.

Nice setup! You will not see 5 mpg pulling three on a big tube!!

No, nothing unusual. I have a Suzuki so that's a little different. Just keep 303 Protectant on the seats to keep them looking good!

Roger that on the 303. I will also be keeping it indoors as soon as the Barn is completed. Have been on hold for 3 weeks due to truss company mistakes. Looks like the correct stuff arrived yesterday, now if I can just get the builder and concrete back on schedule I can get done.
