First Year Notes - 2016

#1 Post by urbnsr » Sat Oct 15, 2016 1:37 pm

Hey Everyone-

It sucks, but our pontoon is now shrink-wrapped and waiting for next year. Or, I guess, it's us waiting for next year! We had a GREAT year. This has been our get-a-way that seems good for the sole. We haven't ate out this much in years and can't wait for next year. Why didn't you let us know about this sooner?!?! :lol3

OK, these figures are approximate and I am sure I'm missing something so I am reserving the right to update this post as I calculate through my notes.

40 - Number of "trips"
125 - Gallons of fuel purchased
3 - Gallons of 2-cycle oil purchased
360 - Miles traveled

Although some of the above figures are approximate, we are figuring just over 2.9 MPG. This is based on a GPS unit used for most of the year. Next year should be more accurate. Thanks for all the input and help!!!! :nana

I put one tank of fuel on top of what was in there 4/2016. 16 hours use this year.

Buying another house and moving has kept me off the water. Now I need to go and at least start the Waverunner tomorrow for the first time.

Insurance is expensive for my tritoon--about $30 an hour in my case.
