Now that is a great find for the $$.

As far as disadvantage (you asked) would be the winterizing. Ya didn't say where you are located. The main reason for me to have an outboard is that I don't have to do much for winter layup and if we get a decent day in December, don't laugh we do get them, we can start 'er up and go out.

What happens at the lake stays at the lake. Unless I have my camera handy.

That does seem like a very good deal. I've seen vids on youtube of the elliptical tube version and the performance is awesome and with 300 hp you will have the best of both worlds, speed and a toon!

dam that's a sweet boat and a good price since i paid 28000 for a 2009 2075 gli with a 75 horse yammy that included my trailer though so subtract like 2000 so 26 for the boat so if you look at that you stole that boat. remember bennington is like one of the best manufactures. look around at just the fencing on your boat comparied to others you will see that they boalt straight through the fence in to the toon so it is one solid boat. one ? you said it was eliptical maybe the pics distorted the toons but they look round to me. if she didn't come with the bimini buy one you will love it. just didn't see in pics. dam im jelouse.
