I like how the captain tried to play it off like it's no big deal. If there wasn't so much water in his boat you would have been able to easily see the puddle of piss he was sitting in. Coming from an open bow ski boat myself, that's easier to do than you think, especially with a number of adults up there.

So incredibly stupid, he could have lost power, fried his electrical and been adrift. What a hero he would have been then.

I've been on a friend's overloaded 20 footer when he did that. He didn't slow down ahead of time and his stern wave surfed the boat forward and down. The bow submerged like a Trident sub off the Georgia coast. Water came over the front fence and I was wet to my knees. So much for the Christmas light cruise around his small lake. But, the pontoons popped the boat up quick enough and the water drained quickly.

That's a Yamaha jet boat or similar, they all can do that.
I had one years ago as a kid and did it many times.
The first time, it scared the Sh!t out of me.
