Took out our new to us Pontoon today, here's the info. I'm interested in knowing if I can do any better by changing the prop, or if this is about the best I'm going to get out of her. I have no idea who set up this boat, my guess is it was done by the dealer at delivery 4 years ago and it's never been messed with since.
Sweetwater 22' tritoon
underskinned
lifting strakes
Yamaha 150
2 adults and gear
flat calm
no wind
handheld GPS speed data (the speedometer is high by 4 mph):
WOT 37mph, 5800 rpms motor trimmed down fully
WOT 39 mph, 6000 rpms motor trimmed up 3/4 (per gauge)

That's about all you're going to get out of the boat.
Now, enjoy it.
I was thinking the other day that I seldom run my boat at full throttle. Most of the time I'm running 3500 rpms on a cruise--far from max.

Its a pontoon for cryin out loud...not sure what the end game is but those are spot on numbers . Besides , how much time do you spend running wide ass open? Probably way less than you think. My sled tops out at 29 MPH on GPS with a two log set up and a 115 motor. I think Ive run it WOT maybe four times in the 4 years Ive had it.
Like the other fella said the majority of time its a 3500rpm cruise. If mine would run as fast as these guys lookin for more speed at a current 35-39 mph hell Id have a woody for weeks .

I like the numbers....I drove a Lowe 22ft tritoon with the lifting strakes and 2008 Merc 135 with 6 adults and a cooler onboard and hit 33 GPS with around 4950 rpm(if tach is right). Prob set up for pulling folks as it has the ski bar so prop may be set up for towing rather than speed. You seem to be spot on. For comparison-see my signature for my performance w/o lifting strakes.....they make all the difference.
Good luck....

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input. I too don't ever run WOT, but I know that doing so for this test was the only way to compare performance.
Thanks again.

Nice results...... I'd be happy with that as you have it. Also, I'm assuming you have the top down with the boot on it. Depending on the size of your fuel tank, you might squeak out another mph with little fuel.
I can only get 5800 rpm max out of our F200 at WOT and with just me, little fuel, top folded back, etc have done a max of 42 GPS MPH at WOT and 5800 RPM trimmed up 3/4 way. Most of the time with 2 of us, and often 4 of us, more fuel, etc I get 38 or 39 MPH WOT trying to out run a storm
We run a Reliance SDS, SS 14.5 X 15" pitch prop.

What exact prop are you running?
Sounds like your doing as good or better then most here.

It's a Yamaha Reliance Series, with the markings 15-M, 14 1/2

You have the most popular prop in the correct pitch for most boats with the Yamaha F150.
You might get a little more after your engine gets broken in--loosens up.
