Need help on downloading music...

#1 Post by Retired OG » Mon Jul 10, 2017 6:54 pm

I have a laptop, Win 7....I spent the afternoon trying to figure out how to download music for future download to a MP3 player..........or do I need a player before I can download? I'll come back here tomorrow morning to check the thread...in the meantime I'm gonna be stabbing computer keys to try and figure this out... :censored

Download this... It's free..

Be careful of any 'extra add-on' items like McAffee Antivirus, etc. Uncheck those 'extras.'

You can go to YouTube and then download videos. The audio can be converted to mp3 within the program.

This is for 'public domain' music. Get copyright music by paying for it, Itunes, etc....

Thanks...I had one of my friends email me some instructions on downloading from youtube, but I think he forgot something...I'll give your method a shot and let you know. I tried the Nexus Radio but I'm missing something I think.

I use Pandora Premium on my smartphone. Works like a champ!! $10 a month is pretty cheap, even after a 60 free trial. Give it a try.

I run spotify premium. It will allow you to make or subscribe to other user's playlists. It will also let you download those playlists to your phone/tablet for playing off-line when no cell signal is available.

i have some where around 40,000 mp 3, i was one of the one back in the napster days who was on a T 1 line, these days i use a sound capture program to avoid any down load issues

i use a stereo that has a SD slot, a 2 gig card holds around 300 tunes and a old metal box has 10 cards in it, that keeps my covered
