Leaving my boat in salt water for 2 days?

I'm looking at a short trip to the beach/bay that has boat slips, so I would be leaving my boat in the salt for 36 hours at the most, instead of pulling it out and rinsing it down and running the muffs overnight. It's never seen salt. What are y'alls thoughts on doing this?

It'll be fine, no worries.

Mine is run in salt water all the time. Sometime I leave it in for week at a time no problems. It will be fine.

Should be fine, but I'd be sure to flush the motor when you're done.

Keep the motor trimmed up out of the water over night. I have left my boat in the salt water for up to 2weeks in the past with no problem. Only issue I found in the salt water was build up of barnacles, depends on location. Destin bay was bad, key largo wasn't near as bad. Some scotch bright pads each day on the toons helped keep them at bay.

As far as for the motors they are run in salt water more than fresh sometimes year round with no issues, just flush the pontoons with fresh water when done, the next time you use it will flush the motor out for piece of mind

Here is a little trick....
On the way home, find a freshwater ramp and drop your trailer in as deep as possible and run the boat for a few minutes. This will give it a good flush but also clean the salt off of most of the trailer.

Thanks for the tip. No, no zincs on the hull, just on the motor but it looks like I will be trailering it each night.
