Best Place for Used Boat Pricing

Thinking of selling our 9 year old Bennington in Jan. or Feb. or Mar. Where is the best place to look for recommendations on pricing?

Look to Boattraders.com for comps.

NADA is bad for boat pricing. As mentioned above, look at comps on CL or boattrader. Bennie is a good name so you that will add value help with your sale.

The NADA GUIDE is prepared by the National Automobile Dealer Association in Kansas City. They watch over dealership sales of new and used vehicles and large national car auctions for their pricing. They're car people.
But the NADA doesn't have any national RV (or boat) auctions that prices can come from.
The NADA RV (and boat) prices are based on a first year depreciation amount. Then they lower the prices month by month at a set percentage.
In other words, their pricing is not based on experience because retail sales prices on RV's (and boats) is simply unavailable. It's just a work of fiction prepared by people that have never been on a boat or stayed in a RV.
Bank and Credit Union auditors are just looking for something to base their opinion on the way assets are booked, and NADA is the only guide that's on the market. They want to know if the amount advanced on boat loans and on amounts floorplanned for dealers is reasonable.
(I carried a NADA guidebook in my pocket the better part of 24 years.)
