Towing a pontoon boat - cover on or off?

I just got a brand new Montego Bay tritoon with an etec g2 200 HO engine.
It normally sits in a marina on a lift except for 10 days - where I plan on towing it to northern Wisconsin.
My question is - when towing, do I put the cover on or off?
My preference would be to leave the cover off.

Thanks much!
I should not worry about the chairs getting all out of whack because of them going back and forth?

Hyperx,
My chairs all secure in the folded position and I Swivel and then lock them in the rear facing position.
I also use a small shrink wrap about 4" wide to shrink wrap things like the depth finder cover in place so I don't lose anything in the wind.

Cover pff, Bimini top down in trailering position, and front & rear gates blocked open. I drop the seat backs all the way flat and take the tables out, too. Let the air flow through. They pull easier and bumps the fuel economy a little. Some manufacturers recommend removing the drivers wind screen from the pedestal, too.
