nothing like having a post deleted from club bennington to let them know about the issues I have been having with my New 2017 22 ssrx.

In the end not surprising that the moderation on a brand specific and/or owned forum is heavy handed when it comes to product complaint and dissatisfaction... I've read there a few times I noticed the cult like "Fanboy" attitude right off the bat...

its a long list
first year end of 2016
pull boat home open up the changing room boom gas lift tube shoot oil out everywhere. didn't even get it on the water. second the boat wasn't propped right couldn't get above 5000 RPM. the boat was also difficult to shift into neutral found out the linkage wasn't adjust correctly. My stern light went out the wire shorted out where it goes into the bimini apparently the grommet wasn't installed and the wire rubbed until it shorted. the dealer installed the snaps for the cover right where the trailer stops are, the bouncing of the boat ripped the carpet of the front stops. Dealer fixed the stops and put rivets where the snaps were, dealer forgot to tighten the tower, I took the boat out and almost fell off the steps of the trailer. I was pissed called the dealer and told them to get there ass out there and fix it. They screwed up and my boat sat to far forward on the trailer scratched the tongue of the trailer, dealer ended up painting the tongue. My table in the boat separated its a 2 piece table, dealer glued it until a replacement could be ordered. end of 2016

Now 2017
Dealer re-propped boat, works much much better lost some speed but hole shot is better and rides better with more people on board. now for the issues Trim and tilt motor is leaking fluid at the top of the cylinder, the bimini has always been a bitch to put down on trailering struts, I looked it looks like the bimini is not wide enough for the boat the struts are stretched outward like this / \ I hope that makes sense. the radio quit working also. This is what I put on the Bennington website I labeled the title venting. I mean other potential buyers should be aware that Bennington also makes mistakes. I did put in there that all of my 2016 issues have been taken care of, I mean that right there shows Bennington stands behind its products. I cant get the 2017 issues fixed until October 12t so we will see what the dealer says about the new issues. I hope they fix everything. Ill keep you guys posted.

On a side note last year I yelled at my salesman telling him that every week I take my boat out it seamed like I had to bring it in for service. I have never really yelled at someone like that before I was so so mad. FYI this is my second bennington I bought from my dealer, when I walk into the shop only people I deal with is my salesman and the Shop manager. I didn't have many issues with my 2009 GLI benni

FYI I put a lot in this message as you can tell some of this stuff still pisses me off and was ready to tell the dealer to take the boat back.
