Barletta pontoons

#1 Post by ron nh » Thu Jan 18, 2018 1:51 pm

Has anyone seen Barletta pontoons yet at the boat shows? The few pictures I've seen look great. Looks like a group from Godfrey, probably butt hurt from the sale, started a new company. They appear to use woven vinyl for the seats, like the upgraded seats from Quest, It's my favorite part of my boat, not many company's use it.

I've never heard of them but I checked them out online after reading your post. Looks interesting and I'll definitely follow their progress.

I saw an advertisement for them in PDB mag. They sound like they are trying to do it right. But then again, you can say anything in an ad. I hope what they speak is true. I looked at their website, not too much info there. I do look forward to hearing more about them. Maybe someone else here has more info for us.

A customer brought in a new Barletta to our marina, we had to check it out. The boat looks impressive, and it was their economy model. If the pricing were good I'd consider them for rental boats.

We did check out their website and noticed they have a model that slides out, taking the pontoon from 8'6" wide to 14" wide. This sounds impressive, but, I'd be hesitant to get the V1.x of this model - there are bound to be LOTS of issues with driving a slide-out pontoon down the lake.

My Harris sales guy was pushing Barletta hard. Their showroom was 50/50: Harris to Barletta. He said Barletta poached a bunch of Harris execs. Their boats look good and what I saw carry a proud price tag.

Currently traveling and only have my IPhone. Haven’t been able to figure out Tahoe to post pics. Read the sticky and looks like a computer is easier
