So many issues too .. buoyancy, weight distribution, seamanship .. common sense.

Yeah, not very smart. Any other open bow boat and it probably would have sunk.

LOL, about as smart as some of those pontoon rentals in Panama City.
Sold: 27' CC with Twin 225 Yamaha

I have actually done this only for fun. Had a prissy gal whining about her hair in the wind. She was up front when a big cruiser passed. I wasn't going that fast when I turned and stuffed the bow. She was soaked, it was great.

And Destin, we quit going to Crab Island for hanging out for the day, the rental fleet of jet skis and pontoons is ridiculous, watched a boat load of folks all with their life jackets on, about a 13 yr old girl at the helm, almost ran down by a commercial sport fisher when she turned right in front of them in the pass, guess she thought boats have brakes like cars. then the morons hauling ass in the anchorage area on crab island, out of control running anchor lines over, hitting other boats. NO THANKS.
