Carb Question

wasnt sure were to put it... so i stick it here....

i just yesterday bought a 89 Jevilen F&S boat with the evinrude 110 on it ( i think its orignal) anyway im sure im running on 3 year old gas that has water in it :( it has 3/4 tank and i didnt want to waste it :) i ran it WOT for about 8 miles up the lake and did good . so the question is...

the carbs have white frothy liquid on the OUTSIDE of them it almost looks like frost but isnt. what is that? never seen it on any of my other boats before... thanks....

PS: its a VRO motor and its hooked up and working

Not sure what that is on the outside of the carbs, but get some gumout carb cleaner and spray on them. Can also spray into the carburetor
while running. I alway keep a can of that around the garage. Spray slowly, don't want to kill the motor. Then add some seafoam to the gas tank. Was late in getting the fuel stabilizer into the new boat and cranked it. Motor ran about 15 min and cut off. Pretty sure the ethanol from last year was the cause, Never had that problem with the old toon with old gas. Maybe the new ones are a little more touchy. Dealer said it was the low pressure fuel pump.
