On our 22' boat, I use 4 fenders with EZ Fenders - 2 on each side. I have some square throw cushions that can be added as extra padding when rafting up, depending on the type of boat we are rafting up to.

This would be us too, with the EZ fenders its so stinking simple to raise/lower your fenders and not be hassled with moving them from side to side or worrying about loosing them...

speaking of fenders, I just purchased these to replace my large taylor made 26" fenders, these won't roll off a piling, and they can be placed vertically or horizontally, much more coverage area, and take up a lot less space for storage.

I live in Kansas, a windy state.

So I have 2 on the bow that are the molded bow bumpers from Taylor.

I also have three on each side tied to the side of the slip as well as 4 I keep on the boat to use when docking at courtesy docks, etc.

I've watched as other boats bang against the slips when the wind blows or waves rock and decided I didn't want mine banged up that much.

The bow fenders are really nice at helping cushion the bow of the toon.

I've got 4 of the flat vinyl type, haven't used them yet so not sure if there better than the round ones.

Pontoonstuff now has fenders again these are awesome and great price.
