On board grill

#1 Post by Jrevell » Sun Jul 22, 2018 6:09 pm

We are looking for a small grill to install into a bar/island on our pontoon boat. I've looked all over, all I can find is the type to attach to the rail or on a stand. Anyone have any idea where I might find a smal propane grill that would set into a bar/island? Thanks

We use a propane flat top grill on the boat, bus or camping etc. We haven't even replaced our small grill in a few few years and we really don't miss it, so much easier to saute onions and veggies, we can do eggs, pancakes, burgers, dogs etc.
It can be placed in an island/shelf
It is a blackstone, look on last page of our build and see pictures, it is maybe 24x24 inches?

Looking at them now! Great idea! Going to check them out to see if we might be able to build the smaller one in. I also see they sell a hood for them. Thanks again for the information!

If anyone has pictures of how there grills are mounted I would love to see them. I have the larger round SS grill from my old boat and that mounted in a rod holder. So any ideas would be great. thanks for the help. cheers

Purchased mine from Sam’s Club and I order the same set up,you use for, your table. The base and pole attached the bracket to the grill attached the base to the deck where I wanted to set and when I want to use it I just attached the pole and set the grill on top. Just like you would your table. Never Hd a problem.

That's smart mounting it outside the floor area.
