Mercury 2011 9 hp EFT four stroke prime bulb yes or no

my 90 hp outboard has had a issues will not go above 2500 RPM and starts to die until i squeeze the prime bulb replaced the VST Tank low and high pressure pumps should this motor have a prime bulb

My 07 EFI has no prime bulb. The engine manages the fuel lift.

But there is at least two, if not three fuel filters you should inspect.

My son’s 150 FS Merc on his tritoon (2015 I think) doesn’t have a primer bulb in the fuel line.

My 2016 60 FS Merc does. Though it usually is firm when I squeeze it, a couple of times when it’s sat a while I get a couple of squeezes out of it.

I prefer having one for peace of mind.
