bow riding certainly isn't safe on a pontoon... there'd be no escape if you fall from the front of the boat, and get between the logs.....

im not in favor of making regulations, whatsoever...

everyone driving a boat has the responsibility to keep passengers safe.

if someone wants to chop their passengers to pieces with the propeller, let them. catfish gotta eat, too.

The law revision was written / sponsored by some dumbass legislator from the Tampa area who got a ticket when his kid was bow-riding, and then went and did something about it.

I'm generally a live-and-let-live person but this likely didn't need to be changed. There are enough ignorant boaters on the water already.

We had a fatality on Kentucky Lake on Labor Day Weekend when a 22 year old girl stepped over rail of pontoon and fell into water. Will post link if can locate.

Not crazy about new regs but not sure I disagree with that one. Common sense ain't common enough.

You can regulate stupid but you can’t fix it.

This was passed 3 years ago...the government has to pass laws because common sense is extinct.
