9-8-17 was the last time THE FLOATER had hit the water until this past weekend. Truman was flooded all last year so we sold our lots and campers and hauled her back to KC.
We finally went camping on Hillsdale lake about 45 minutes from our house. Man it was much better than I expected. When I opened the bimini damn snake skin fell out, mouse chewed the canvas some. Replaced the broken flip flop with captains chair (forgot to take pics of that) Although she ended up not running great at first after a new fuel filter I had on hand and figuring out if I pumped the bulb while my buddy drove she'd run ok. So I ended up buying a new fuel hose and bulb from marina ($62 ouch!) She ran like a champ! I think we like the idea of a slip but probably not till next year. Here are some pics. I saw more boats in one day than I ever did in 12 years on Truman. Going back in 3 weeks.
