Hello!
I have a 2002 Premier Gemini 210 with a Suzuki DF70 motor. (4 stroke, EFI) The factory hour meter hasn't worked since I bought it earlier this year. I'm wondering where I should start to look for the issue? I'm too big to fit in the little door to see much under the helm. I did manage to fix the speedo, the tube had broken off of the lower unit. I'm guessing maybe a wire has come loose or something fairly simple, I'm just not certain on how an hour meter works or where it hooks up to the motor at. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Troy

Re: Suzuki hour meter..
Is it analog or digital? Typically cheaper ones just run when they've got power on them so usually hooked up to an ignition keyed source although the better ones run off a tach signal. If you can't fit under the helm it's going to be hard to figure out what you're working with. Make some small friends I guess. Since it's a 2002 might be betting on he just dead vs a wiring issue.

Re: Suzuki hour meter..
Its a digital meter and it still lights up and shows 112 hours. It just doesn't tally any more hours while running. I'll see what I can try and see from under the helm, maybe stick my 5 year old in there and she can give me a hand. LOL

Hey, my dad did that with me. Only reason I know how to work on anything now. Came in handy once I became a ward of the state.
