Pontoon boat lift for Tritoon

I have a 24' Sylvan S3 CLZ tritoon coming in and I have to redo my overhang lift.
What should be the cable distance between the front and back cables that the cradles are hooked to?
What is the length of the bunks that sit on cradle?
How much of the pontoons can hang over the bunks?
Any help would be appreciated.

For what it's worth:
My 25' sits on two slings, 12 feet apart. The bow overhang is 8 feet and the stern hangs off by 5 feet.
It was hanging this way for many, many (15?) years before I bought the boat with the lakehouse so I just replaced the straps and cables.

That right there's what I’d call empirical data!

Thanks for the comments. I guess all this talk about not using straps, you proved them wrong Rick!!
I still feel more comfortable using the cradle system. I like the cables being 12' apart. looking for any other info on bunk lengths etc.
Does any one know on another note if I'm in brackish and fresh water, what the best anodes to use on the pontoons.

Anode info:
Fresh Water – Magnesium
Brackish Water – Aluminium
Salt Water – Zinc

My trailer bunks support the logs to within a couple of inches from the end on the rear, and a few feet at the front. They are a couple of inches over 19 feet long. My tri-toon is 24 feet long.

If you are in both brackish and fresh water would you put aluminum and magnesium anodes on your pontoons.
Is there one anode that works for both types of water.

Mine is docked in fairly fresh water, though it’s most often used in salt water.
I’d say go with anodes for the type of water that your boat spends the majority of it’s time in.

The metal crossmembers on my lift are about 9' apart and they have 2 x 8 boards laying flat between them that the toons sit on. the boards extend about 18" past each crossmember, meaning the boards are abougt 12' long total. I typically dock my boat with the back end of the toons lined up with the back of boards.
