Tables

Any insight on a dining table that has decent drink holders? Ours are too shallow and are misleading to guests that think they will hold a drink while underway. They always fall out or tip over. Our last boat's table was the same deal. Everything online seems to have the same poor design.
Thanks!

Most of the table tops that we’ve had have shallow, molded-in cup holders.
Those would be a fix if they were fastened in with nuts and bolts through the bottom drain holes to hold them on. A better looking solution would be to cut out the molded in holders, then replacing them with the deeper ones; mounting them flush.
We have so many cup holders in our boat that we don’t need to use the ones in the table. Actually, we’ve never used the table; we eat at the bar. I did set the table up once when I first got the boat to ensure that it set up properly.

When we first got the boat, it was all about grilling and eating aboard. Over time, that has morphed so much that we pulled out the table floor mount and grill.

I had the typical plastic table with the virtually worthless cupholders. Luckily my son-in-law had the skillset to make me a table and he used the cupholders that Bansil mentioned. It's a great option if you have someone who can create something custom.
Here's my original post with pics of the table.

Glue solo cups in your existing cupholders.
