Hunting season started down here last Saturday, so I pulled the tri-toon out last Thursday, and put the airboat in.
It takes an airboat to get up to the hunt camp.

White Tail Deer and the occasional hog in the swamp.
The camp’s on an island up a creek (salt water) full of rocks. From there, you have to walk about a quarter of marsh to get to the edge of the swamp; then walk back into the swamp to hunt.

Well; My Daddy started me hunting in the swamp when I was seven years old (I’m 72+ now), so I guess I just never knew any better.

With that airboat, hunting in the swamps just has to be great! I have hunted mountains, deserts, and deep woods - but never a swamp!
